I'll overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a ÂŁ1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
